The bottom strong ,or lowest pitched string, is going to be tuned to low E, the 5th string should be tuned to A, tune the 4th string to D, the 3rd string to G, the 2nd string to B, and finally the top string ,or the highest pitched string, to the high e.
Some guitars have a built in digital tuner which tells you if you are too sharp, too flat, or just right. If your guitar doesn't already have this feature, there are many other things that can help you with tuning your guitar, such as:
- Tuning apps (I use "GuitarTuna" if my tuner runs out of battery because its free and still tells you whether your too sharp, flat, or right on it.)
- Electric tuners (you can usually find these in almost any music shop.)
- Tuning whistles
Have fun playing !
